Football Season

Welcome to the 2024 Football Season. As a courtesy, we opening up registration to returning players first on Monday 4/8/2024. Please do not delay in securing your spot. We will open registration to everyone else on Friday, April 12th.

Ages

MYF fields 6 teams, grades 3-8 (our Mighty Mites are grades 1-2)

By Grade: players are rostered by their grade.

When

Pre-season Camp begins August 9th and the official start of the season is September 8th with our Season Opener

Pre-Season Runs 4-5 days per week until the start of the Fall school year.

Where

Practices are held on the Marshfield Grass fields (Deftos/Backfield) as well as the Stadium and Community Turf.

Field Availability We do our best to get every team on the turf at least once per week once the season begins.

Practices

Practices schedules are determined by the head coach.

Schedule: Teams practice 2-3 times per week once school begins.

Games

We participate in games on Saturday (JV) and Sunday (Varsity). All players are required to be at both games, fully dressed.

Schedule: We have both home and away games. Please refer to our website or app for team schedule.

Equipment

MYF provides our players with a helmet, shoulder pads, practice jersey and game jersey. These are returned at the end of the season.

Deposit: A deposit check of $300 is required to pick up your equipment. It will be returned once you hand in your equipment at the end of the year.

Extra Costs

The only requirement above and beyond our registration fee is for our League Wide fundraiser for our popular Calendar Raffle Tickets.

Player requirement: Every player is required to sell 10 raffle tickets ($10 each) and are rewarded with awesome prizes for selling more! MYF will process a on time fee of $100 to your player account in June. All balances must be paid in full prior to getting your equipment.

Volunteering

We ask every family to get involved to help support the league. We ask every family volunteer for 4 hours per season. You can do this in a number of ways. Volunteer at the gate, chain gang, our fundraisers etc.

OPT OUT: If you are unable to donate your time or would prefer to opt out (some prefer this), you are able to do so by paying $100 back to the league.($25 credit per hour volunteered).

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my player have to attend practice

YES! Please make sure players attend practice. Players are taught plays, and their role for the week. If players miss practice they may not be able to play in their games. This is a safety issue.

Individual player registration cost for the season is $450.00. (Family max of $800)

Please note, MYF provides scholarships opportunities to assist with financial concerns.  Every player counts.  Contact the league confidentially at info@marshfieldyouthfootball.com for more information.

Please register before 5/1/24 to Receive the Early Bird discount of $50.

In addition to our registration fee, there is a one time fee of $100 that goes towards our league-wide fundraiser of our popular MYF Calendar Raffle Tickets. This will be applied to all player accounts in June -before equipment pick up.  All players are required to sell 10 raffle tickets ($10 each).

The league also offers incentives to our players to sell more! This is by far our biggest fundraiser and goes towards fields, new equipment etc. This is also a great way for our players to show their RAMS pride and be an active part of their program.
